They are water-resistant and hold their shape for months to years. You may also share them with your friend's weddings. They are a poly mesh blend, unlike fabric or ribbon that drupe over time. But they are not plastic at all. Soft to the touch yet rigid enough to hold their shape just fine. The pew bows are the stately size of 12"x 32" and pleat out when you hang them. Add your own bow accent in the middle. Like flowers or ivy, or butterfly accents, etc. They come with a white lacey center accent band.
